Taig has made some improvements over the years to the mini lathe. One nice upgrade was adding a bearing to the cross-slide leadscrew assembly. This provides a nicer, smoother feel to the operation. If you have the original style without the bearing this assembly provides everything you need for the upgrade. Highly recommended.
