The Taig manual lathes come with the ¾-16 headstock as did the very early mills. This adapter lets you use ER16 collets on the ¾-16 headstock. This allows for a much wider variety of collet choices but does increase the stick-out. Some folks also use them to preset tool lengths on their mills with the older ¾-16 headstock.

NOTE: This item is too large to ship by the Fixed Rate International method.
