Overview
These PreciseBits brand 'V' bits feature a four flute design which ensures long life and quiet operation. With their 1/8" shank combined with a 1/4" cutting head these bits offer a great mid-size alternative to our smaller 1/8" 'V' bits and the standard large 'V' style bits used for woodworking. If you need to do scoring, beveling, carving or engraving in wood, phenolics, composite materials or non-ferrous metals then these bits would be a great choice.
The unique cutting edge geometry virtually eliminates chatter at high feed rates. The four flute tip is plungable, unlike may 'woodworking' style bits. Possible uses include dimensional signage, engraving and PCB beveling/countersinking.
